Course “Empresario Prepara”
IDEA has been offering the course “Empresario Prepara” since September 2012. Every year, beginning in April, this course is offered from 7:00 PM to 9:15 PM This course is offered twice a week. This course’s goal is to educate aspiring and current entrepreneurs.
This mission is part of the plan of the Aruban Government to expand the island’s economy by focusing on micro, small and medium-sized businesses. These companies may be able to bring new commercial activities and innovations to Aruba and contribute to the diversification of the island’s economy.
Due to the high level of interest shown by applicants in this course, IDEA has decided to expand the educational curriculum by adding the course “Empresario Prepara II”. IDEA organized the course “Empresario Prepara II” for the first time in September 2017. The courses “Empresario Prepara I & II” include the following:
Course “Empresario Prepara I” (EP I):
- This course package includes six modules totaling 25 lessons: Corporate Social Responsibility (Human Rights & Business), Business Continuity Plan, Marketing, Business Plan, Business Law, Small Business Administration & Finance.
Course “Empresario Prepara II” (EP II):
- EP II consists of four modules (an extension of the curriculum of EP I) and a total of 19 lessons: Small Business Tax, Innovation, Developing Brand Awareness for Customer Satisfaction, Leadership and Management.
